TriStar Raises $1,400,000

Houston, TX – TriStar Gold Inc. (the “Company” or “TriStar”) announces that it has raised $1,404,962 under the private placement announced February 12, 2015 (the “Private Placement”) by the issuance of 9,366,413 units (the “Units”) of the Company at a price of $0.15 per Unit. Each Unit consists of one (1) common share (a “Share”) in the capital of the Company and one half (1/2) share purchase warrant (a whole warrant, a “Warrant”). Each Warrant entitles the holder to purchase one (1) additional common share (a “Warrant Share”) in the capital of the Company for a period of eighteen (18) months from the date of issuance at an exercise price of $0.20 per Warrant Share. The proceeds are to be used to conduct additional exploration at the Company’s Castelo de Sonhos project in Para State, Brazil, to make a payment on its Castelo de Sonhos project acquisition and for general working capital.

All of the securities issued under the Private Placement will be subject to a hold period which will expire four months and a day from the date of issuance.
